Easy Sausage
& Apple Tray Bake
Welcome in the cooler months with this sweet and warming sausage and apple
tray bake! Perfect for busy families or an easy weekend meal, this one-dish
wonder will be on the table in under an hour. If you or your family don’t consume
pork, try making this dish with chicken sausages for a delicious substitute!

3 large parsnips, peeled
2 Agria potatoes, peeled
500g pork sausages
2 red apples
Fresh herbs (we used sage and
chopped rosemary)
2 Tbsp runny honey
1. P
reheat your oven to 180°C fan bake. Cut the parsnip and
potatoes into even-sized chunks around 3cm in thickness,
then place them into a roasting dish.
2. D
rizzle with olive oil or melted butter, then season with
salt and pepper and toss to coat. Bake for 20 minutes.
3. P
lace the sausages into a bowl. Cut the apple into
wedges, discard the core, and place the pieces into the
bowl with the sausages. Drizzle with olive oil or melted
butter and toss to coat.
4. A
fter the vegetables have been baked for 20 minutes,
remove them from the oven and arrange the sausages
and apple pieces into the dish. Bake for a further 30
minutes.
5. A
round 15 minutes before the baking time ends, sprinkle
the fresh herbs over the bake and drizzle with the honey.
Once the sausages have cooked through and the veggies
are golden brown, serve while hot and enjoy.
