When in a maimai or layout blind, space is limited, and I like to keep my gear as organised as possible. One very handy way to do this is with the
Avery Floating 2.0 Blind Bag. With many things to keep on-hand like ammo, callers, face paint and veil, camo hat and gloves, knife, extra chokes,
headlamp, duck licence, dog lead, I even carry a handful of dog treats, a good blind bag certainly solves the problem. The Avery Floating 2.0 bag
however takes things to a new level. The bag has 6 compartments, so organising everything is a breeze, and this makes finding essentials in the
dark or low light much easier. The outer is a camo water resistant 900D
Duramax fabric, making it ideal for using in the often-damp conditions that we
encounter like the boat or maimai floor, but this rugged material also ensures
the bag is easy to clean. The internal base and walls are constructed from
closed cell foam meaning that not only does this bag float, butit also offers
a level of shock resistance to keep accessories even safer. The hunters
at Avery have certainly designed a top Blind Bag that has now become an
essential part of my duck hunting kit, its compact size, robust nature and
convenience make it a must have in every duck hunting situation. Athome
I keep mine packed and ready to go so that if I get a last-minute invite for a
night shoot etc, all I have to do is grab it plus my gun and ammo and I'm good
to go! Get one this season at our Hot Deal price of $99.99 saving $20.00.

The Lucky Duck HD has become the go-to spinning wing decoy for me, whether I'm
shooting over some fresh crops out of the layout blind or trying to fool local birds in the
Waikato wetlands. We like to run multiple decoys to fully 'finish'even the wariest of
mallards and one of the standout features of the Lucky Duck HD system is being able to
have most of my electronics connected to a single remote. Out in the field this feature
alone has been an absolute game changer. We travel a lot during the season, following
the ducks onto floodwater and crops, which means our decoys take a bit of a beating,
but I'm very impressed with the overall durability of the paint on the Lucky Duck HDs.
Having magnetic connections for the wings has created a much faster set up while
putting the decoys out in the spread, it's great not having to worry about dropping small
screws when wading out in the pond. These decoys are much quieter and more battery
efficient than others on the market, running off a 6-volt rechargeable battery it provides
the capability of having a decoy I can take away for the weekend while not having to take
stacks of single-use batteries with me.
They come with a 3 piece 1-meter-long stake allowing you to set up at multiple heights
or in varying water depths etc. Atthe normal RRP of $279.99 they are excellent value for
money, but the even better news while stocks last for this year is the Hunting & Fishing
New Zealand HOT DEAL price of just $229.99. So, with a $50.00 saving, the Lucky HD is a
must have addition to your spread this season and by adding the Lucky HD Remote Kit for
$149.99 you'll have the most versatile spinning wing decoy system on the market!
