The Klymit Sleeping Matis a good lightweightinflatable pad with options that are insulated for maximum warmth. From S199.99 to $249.99they offer excellent
value as they do everything well. They are reasonably durable, if you take good care of your gear, they will last you well. They are also warm and lightweight,
weighing in from just 556g. The instant you lie on one you'll notice these pads feel very different from others on the market, that's because the Klymit's
inflatable side rails and V chamber are ergonomically designed for maximum support, features I find combine to work well in reducing the
bounce when you move or re-adjustin your sleep. The deep baffles feel stable and don't collapse, giving a lot of back support. This
baffle system also limits air movement to enhance warmth. Infact, the R/Value performance rating of 4.4 means the insulated
models are warm enough to sleep on snow and in the colder seasons. Mine packs down to a little over a
litre in volume, making it fairly impressive when it comes to volume/weight/warmth.
In conclusion your Klymit pad will likely feel warmer than other pads with similar R-Values because
the of the deep baffles that trap air providing optimum insulation. I have personally been using one for the
last 3 years and have found it works well in almost all situations. I can recommend them to the hunter/
outdoor enthusiast who has a budget, but still needs a good quality pad. Klymit Mats hit the balance of
warmth, weight, packed size and value so are definitely an option that you should consider when making
your next mat purchase.

• All Svord knives are individually hardened and tempered using a unique and time-honoured secret heattreatment process.
• All Svord knives utilise the best Swedish high carbon tool steel available.
• Each knife is hand ground on a water-cooled stone.
