About Early Settler

Early Settler’s first store was opened in 1985 in Victoria, Australia. Since then this furniture and renovation supplies retailer has expanded in Australia and to New Zealand, with 41 shops in total.

Three of Early Settler’s New Zealand shops can be found in Auckland, with the other 4 in Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Supplementing its physical stores is its online shop and blog, which showcases products and offers inspirational ideas.

Early Settler sells all kinds of furniture and renovation supplies, in a range of styles, from classic to contemporary, inspired by various cultures around the world. Its product range includes coffee tables, and furniture for the dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom, office, outdoors, and kitchen, as well as heating and lighting equipment, fans, hardware, homeware, rugs, and antiques and collectibles.

Early Settlor also has the Limited Edition range and the Recollections range, which provides period correct furnishings and fittings to match any home renovation.
